Good Ju Ju

I'm trying to stretch out the the weekend vibes as much as possible. Luckily, or not you get to see how long this can last as well! This past Saturday I went to a store called Good Ju Ju. Cool name right?! The store is only open the first weekend of each month so there is a rush to get there early and grab all the cool things. Because I am not a mad woman and enjoy sleeping in as long as possible on the weekend, I did not get there till the afternoon. That was fine with me because I wasn't planning on buying, just snooping.

Good Ju Ju is a vintage antique shop that has some awesome deals just waiting to be snatched up. If you are good at decorating and being creative (luckies!) than this might be heaven on earth for you. It looked as if you could get pretty great furniture pieces for reasonable prices. Maybe I'll be hit with the decorative stick one of these days and I'll make myself get to Good Ju Ju at a respectable time. Here's Hoping! Seriously you should look at my blank apartment.

Here are some of the pictures I took of the goodies. I need to be more aware of my city because apparently these types of stores are every where!

  1. Oh my gosh that place looks awesome! I wish the thrifty stores near me looked like that! I swear, mine are all 80% creepy porcelain dolls.

first of all, just stumbled on your blog and i love it.

secondly, I LOVE GOOD JU JU!!

i used to live in KC (until about 4 months ago...sad day) and made it my mission to go to West Bottoms the first weekend of each month to check out all of those amazing stores. Have you been through any of the others? If not, do it! There are so many great ones - Liberty Belle, Bottoms Up...the list goes on and on.

we clearly need to be friends. :)

    1. Oh that is a sad day! That was the first time I went there and I definitely want to go back. I'll have to check out the other ones as well. My neighbors were shocked that I had never heard of them!
